Mariokart DS - Works Perfectly (you’ll want to use the light bar key attachment) Super Mario 64 - Works Perfectly (you’ll want the light bar key attachment) I’ll look into it later, but for now it isn’t too much of a problem.Ĭasltavania Dawn of Sorrow - Works Perfectly (you’ll need the mouse mod in the arduino to sign your name)Ĭastlevania Portrait of Ruin - Works Perfectly! (you’ll need the mouse mod to draw your emblem)Ĭastlevania Order of Ecclesia - Works Perfectly (you might need the touchpad use for magnesis… it’s been a while!) Strangely, while using it plugged in via HDMI, it wouldn’t load saying it can’t find the correct bios files etc. Menu navigation: (extremely hard to read) Quit = Menu (hard coded seemingly - can’t change this)Ĭhange from full screen/dual screen = L2 (Shift + B) It doesn’t seem to want to wake up from the closed state. frameskip_type = 2Ĭontrols_a =Ĭontrols_a = 27Ĭontrols_a = 108Ĭontrols_a = 104Ĭontrols_a = 107Ĭontrols_a = 111Ĭontrols_a = 121Ĭontrols_b =ĭS Controls = Same mapping as gameshell, except for hinge control. Either edit your existing config, or make a new file called drastic.cfg saved in ~apps/emulators/drastic/config/ or wherever you saved your drastic directory. I’ve put together a config file with settings that work well with the Gameshell. Thanks again I never would have thought to run it without a rom loaded. I have also reached out and contacted the author, and asked politely if he could possibly provide the source code to allow us to customise it to the Gameshell’s control scheme.įor now, we may be able to get it working. In a nutshell, it sounds like no one in the Pandora community can come to any consensus as to what the mappings actually are.ĭoes anyone possibly own a pandora, and could they possibly run xev and show the printouts for each of the Pandora’s “ABXYLR+START+SELECT+HOME” inputs? The mapping I have currently made was one I came up with, searching high and low for whatever I could re: how the Pandora is mapped. I can find a table of the suspected keycodes correlating to each input key, however I need either the keysym or the hex code for each button to work with xmodmap. From the looks of things, it was written for the Pandora console. Theoretically, it should work however I don’t think I’ve gotten the correct hex values of what the expected output from Drastic is meant to be. "xmodmap ~/apps/emulators/drastic/.xmodmap_original & xbindkeys -defaults > ~/.xbindkeysrc & killall xbindkeys & killall drastic" ! set Gameshell keys to Pandora Drastic MappingĪnd incorporating a “kill switch” using xbindkeys: # RETURN KEYS TO NORMAL I’ve tried to use xmodmap to make a custom entry as follows: ! -*- coding: utf-8 -*. I would suggest adding some more power-ups, to make the challenge more frantic, and aesthetically a colorful texture of the sky would not be bad.It looks as though for now, we can’t edit the controls for Drastic. Only Dokan course (I think it is perhaps a beta track) seems a little banal and poor in detail, even boring to run, and should be retouched and perhaps lengthened. Highly recommended to all, without a shadow of a doubt. So far I have completed the first four tournaments and they were all very entertaining and very satisfactory: looking forward to the addition of future, new tracks for what promises to be the most complete, rich, massive and definitive racing game for DS. And I remember in passing that this is the NDS (not 3DS) section. Since those who have preceded me has done nothing but complain, I emphasize that I have tried it for a few hours on DS lite and DSI XL through r4GoldPro (YSMenu) and it works perfectly. Right from the start you can see the care in the overall execution, the love for small details, the professionalism of the track construction, the alternation of track types and the color combination: all things that make it a real jewel, in my opinion much better than the attempts made previously to improve and enrich the original game. I would like to say a few words, as they come to mind, since no one has yet done so (and this surprises me quite a bit), to highlight that this Hack is truly exceptional and remarkable.
